COMMERCIAL/MIXED USE
heated glass roof design
The heated insulating glass is used as a snow melter for the glazed roof, in order to let in the maximum of natural light in the Gostiny Dvor building. At the time of construction, it was considered the largest glass roof in all of Europe. Super Spacer’s excellent thermal performance and no-metal spacer design make the perfect complement to this heated glass roof design.
The Gostiny Dvor was originally constructed at the end of the 18th century, with roof glazing completed in 1999.
