The company sources millwork, face frame components, cabinet doors, drawer fronts and more on a just-in-time basis from Quanex, enabling Canyon Creek to focus on finishing and assembly of their quality cabinets.
Open-Door “Cabinet” Meetings
Chris Wilson, territory sales manager for QCC, says it’s not just the products that have resulted in such a successful partnership.
“Our quality and operations teams meet with Canyon Creek’s supply chain and production teams every two weeks to make sure we’re all on the same page. We really try to work collaboratively to enhance our quality and delivery so they can continue to do what they do best,” says Chris Wilson.
Quanex’s innovative approach to customer service delivers reliability Canyon Creek counts on. And it’s not the only unique aspect of this fruitful relationship.
“Canyon Creek’s new product development team is relatively small, and we’ve been able to assist them with their development process,” Chris said. “So, when they have an idea of what they want to bring to market, they reach out, and we can help them do it.
