While we recognize that providing monetary support to our communities is vitally important, we also know that true change requires more than simple dollars – it requires time, energy, commitment and plain old-fashioned hard work.
To that end, we created the Quanex Cares Committee in 2022. The committee is made up of a group of volunteer-minded Quanex employees who work together to identify, organize and drive charitable participation from the ground up at all of our facilities. These are production workers and office employees who recognize the importance of giving their time and effort and who want to help others in our organization do the same.
Through the committee, we have already sponsored numerous food and supply drives and provided various opportunities for Quanex employees to participate in charitable initiatives such as cancer walks and holiday giving trees. And that is just the beginning!
Moving forward, the Quanex Cares Committee and its devoted employees will continue to promote charitable opportunities across our plants and will engage and challenge their colleagues at Quanex to participate in various events and activities designed to support and improve our local communities.
