Quanex Names Daniel Marston Territory Sales Manager

Quanex Building Products is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Marston to territory sales manager for Quanex’s North Central territory.

Prior to joining Quanex, Marston spent 30 years with JELD-WEN where he held several roles, including vice president of operations, coordinating group manager, general manager and production manager. During his tenure, he developed a new market concept that resulted in estimated gross sales of more than $10 million in the first year. He also expanded vinyl window and door market share with a large upper Midwest retailer from 15 percent to more than 74 percent within eight years.

“Dan’s experience, dedication to service and continuous improvement make him a great fit for the Quanex team,” said Kyle Kragenbring, Quanex western regional sales manager. “We are really excited to have him aboard and know his experience in the industry will help him to provide excellent service to our customers.”

Marston’s resume also includes an executive sales position at Newton Manufacturing, as well as independent consultancy work. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business and Marketing from the University of North Carolina and an MBA in Marketing and Operations from Franklin University. He is also the co-inventor of a U.S. patented shipping handle design for vinyl windows and patio doors.
