Lillian Osborne High School

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Located in southwest Edmonton, Lillian Osborne High School is home to approximately 1,000 students. Plans for the construction of Edmonton Public School's first new building in 25 years, and its only LEED certified structure, began to take shape in 2005.
Cohos Evamy integratedesign was awarded the job and began designing the school. Daylighting was an extremely important aspect of the design, and every classroom and stairway incorporates natural light from windows sealed with Super Spacer® TriSeal™. The construction began in the fall of 2007, and Lillian Osborne opened its doors in September 2009 as a LEED Silver structure.
