Project Nexus

In May 2010, Quanex Building Products (QBP) announced Project Nexus, a new, long term organic growth program that is focused on connecting (NEXUS) its three Engineered Products Group (EPG) businesses. Mikron, Truseal and Homeshield, each of which operated independently before, are now collaborating to utilize the combined efforts of their sales, marketing and engineering teams. Together, they will expand sales opportunities within their existing national window and door OEMs, market to the regional OEMs that they have traditionally underserved, develop new products and systems, grow through acquisitions and establish QBP as the energy efficient expert in the industry.

We will utilize all existing and future capabilities of Engineered Products Group to maximize our synergies to penetrate both national & regional OEMs, while collectively innovating market-leading energy efficient systems and products to capture market share and deliver increased value to our customers.
