Owens has always been an environmentally friendly choice. Plankfloor’s design maximizes the recovery of wood fiber by combining a composite base with a solid wood wear layer. This platform generates four pieces of flooring from same piece of lumber that would otherwise generate one piece of ¾" solid flooring.
Plankfloor is compliant with the strictest standards for formaldehyde emissions. All of our products are CARB Phase II certified to protect the air quality of your home.
All wood used to create Owens Plankfloor is
Lacy Act Compliant. The Lacy Act helps protect against deforestation by making it unlawful to purchase wood harvested illegally.
